If you want to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first create the universe.

3-day Weekends seem longer when you don’t do anything…

I’m never doing anything again.

Stimulating

toobadvampire:

5:16 a.m.

Today is Dad’s spinal stimulator surgery.  The whole idea is to reduce his pain to something less than constant torture.  If all goes well he will be a changed person.

Well, that and he’ll be one step closer to being a cyborg.

I’m showered and waiting for everyone else to get ready and then we’ll be on our way to the hospital.  I’m sleep deprived for the second day in a row.  Sounds like today is going to be fun.

I want to be part cyborg dammit! Well my legs and right arm anyway.

How to alienate yourself…

  1. Work 3rd shift.
  2. Don’t devote all of your free time to socializing.
  3. Join the military.
  4. Be apathetic.
  5. Stop showing up to events.
  6. Don’t try to keep up with friends’ current events.
  7. Deny dinner and movie invites.
  8. Cease/Limit Social networking site usage.
  9. Don’t hang out with co-workers.
  10. Make accidental encounters as awkward as possible.
  11. Date friends.
  12. Date friends’ exs.
  13. Date friends’ friends.
  14. Think of yourself as a better person than your friends.
  15. Move away.
  16. Always have plans.
  17. Flake on plans.

I do not do all of these, Nor do I know people who do all these.  I just wanted to make a quick list.

supertruestory:

When Luke asks Leia what she remembers about her (their) mother, it doesn’t really matter because Leia was raised by Organa and his wife after Padme dies giving birth to them.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has pointed this out. And I am also glad someone enjoys Star Wars as much as I do. Two thumbs up!

Consider the fact that they may be referring to their birth mother as her step-mum died only 4 years prior, which leads me to believe that she knew that woman quite well.

I am not passionate about anything.

hellokelsey:

I think about this on a day to day basis and find the statement to be one of the biggest problems in my life. Yet I still have no clue what to do about it.

You should look at it as blind luck.  A good jedi would not use passion.  Your trait enables you to think with logic instead of emotions.  You would make a fine jedi indeed.  But, you are too old to begin the training.
